I am long past due writing this review for the Foothills Physical Therapy Center located on Glendale and 7th Street in Phoenix; the facility, the staff, and Joseph King, therapist. Having a personal desire to build strength to avoid hip replacement, I have been a client over months of time for rehabilitation, so I feel I am well-qualified to write a review.
First, I am impressed with the expertise of the therapists and associate therapists at this location. Personally, I can highly recommend Joseph King, with whom I have worked, for his professional manner and his skill at assessing, planning, and treating my condition. He listens carefully to my input and description of my discomfort level, and adjusts treatment accordingly. (As rehabilitation therapy is often a lengthy process, with a few setbacks and adjustments necessary, I am appreciative of someone with a strong, positive, and encouraging attitude, as well as a nudge when necessary.) When I am there, I notice it is a general theme: super qualified, positive therapists as partners in recovery, from pre or post-surgery or general rehabilitation.
Second, the personnel at the front desk are welcoming and accommodating. No matter the business of the day, you are welcomed by name and the staff works overtime to help in any way they can, whether booking appointments or helping with insurance needs. It makes a huge difference when you feel welcomed as you enter and leave.
Third, I can vouch for the safety and cleanliness of the location, throughout the pandemic. Temps are taken, hands washed, mats and equipment cleaned between uses. At no time have I never felt unsafe while on the premises.
If Physical Therapy has been recommended for you, you won’t do any better anywhere in the Valley than at this location for Foothills.
